Goals of our Ministry

Bremen First United Methodist Church Preschool's main goal is to help children by setting a solid foundation for spiritual and academic growth. Children reach these goals in a loving and safe environment. Our teachers display the values of kindness and patience while teaching children.

The benefits of sending your child to preschool are numerous. When you have a child in a loving classroom environment, you will have a child who has great self confidence and self esteem. Compassion for others is a great value that our children learn through daily Bible stories and classroom experience. Our children learn the importance of sharing and taking turns. This is a value that will follow them throughout their school years.

Academic advancement is a wonderful starting block for children. Combining a learning environment with small class sizes helps set the course for rapid learning. Our unique curriculum allows a child to continue advancing forward in any area of learning. Our children are exposed to the fine arts every day. We find that children retain much more information by reinforcing lessons throughout the day using craft time, music and movement, and finger plays. Children learn by using all of their senses. We encourage learning this way by incorporating nature walks, cooking events, field trips, and much more into our program. The more experience a child has with children within their own age group, the more confident they feel while becoming members of society.
